Dear Parents,

Greetings from Urban Services YMCA—your solution to summer vacation! The Urban Services YMCA Day Camp provides opportunities for youth to grow, learn, and develop in a safe and fun atmosphere. Youth spend time outdoors and indoors as experienced staff lead campers in a wide variety of activities each day including arts and crafts, games, skits and songs, sports, swimming, weekly field trips and theme-related activities planned specifically for their age group. An environment is created where campers are active, learning, laughing, and are made to feel special.

Our goals are simple. Campers will feel safe and celebrated for who they are and will encounter experiences that will help promote self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-worth. Campers will experience new things, make new friends, develop new skills, and have fun along the way! Friends and teamwork make our summers FUN!

Our mission of building the spirit, mind, and body of all our campers is reflected in our highly qualified staff, unique activity schedule, and unsurpassed safety protocol. Here at Y-Camp, character counts! That’s why our camp focuses and uses as a foundation the YMCA’s Four Core Values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. In addition, we continue to integrate our healthy kid’s curriculum into our day camp programs.

Thank you for considering Urban Services YMCA for your child’s summer experience. We are confident that 2011 will be our best summer yet! We look forward to welcoming your family to our summer camps! And remember, at Urban Services YMCA, it’s not just another day camp; it’s the summer to discover!

Sincerely,

Urban Services Y-Camp Staff
