Culture Keepers is a cascading mentorship program for youth ages 5 to 18. It provides culturally relevant mentorship, conflict resolution,and positive peer-to-peer interactions to students in Hoover School, with a goal of reducing suspensions, expulsions and other disciplinary measures that disrupt the school environment.
Black Star Line All-Star Swim Team encourages African-American youth ages 5 to 18 to participate in the sport of swimming. Its goals are to encourage youth to swim as a recreational activity, to maintain a healthy lifestyle and to develop competitive drive and determination.
Feelin’ Good ‘Program is a fun, effective physical education program for elementary schools. It includes fitness activities, sports and games, learning reinforcement, values and nutrition education.
Panthers Baseball team serves boys ages 5 - 13 in the East and West Oakland communities, in partnership with the Oakland Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken Baseball Leagues. There is also a Panthers Soccer team for both indoor and outdoor games.
Pink Panthers softball team serves girls ages 6 - 12 in the East and West Oakland communities, in partnership with Oakland Girls Softball League (OGSL).
Step Up After-School Program uses athletics, literacy and character development activities to teach and develop values, improve physical fitness and nutrition, and enhance overall school performance for children in grades K through 5.
Youth Super Sports gives kids and teens a place to play their favorite sports year-round.

The Bridge is a unique community-based collaboration of established youth agencies. It combines outreach, case management, leadership training and recreation services to reduce dropout and truancy rates at McClymonds High School, and decrease violence in West Oakland.

Dare2Dream Apprenticeship Academy is a seven-week, curriculum-based apprenticeship program for youth ages 14 to 16. Participants choose among four career tracks: Culinary Arts, Cosmetology/Fashion Design, Sports & Recreation and Entertainment Industry. The academy’s goal is to allow youth to identify, explore and educate themselves about potential career paths early enough in their developmental process to aid and inspire them to achieve their dream.
Future Choice Program serves Oakland youth ages 14 to 18 by giving them skills to make healthy sexual, educational, relational and career choices today to position them for success in the future.
Panthers Baseball and Soccer Teams give teens and youth a place to hone their skills and have fun, while developing character skills and sportsmanship. The soccer teams play both indoors and outdoors.
Pink Panthers Softball Team gives teens and young women a place to hone their skills and have fun while developing character skills and sportsmanship.
Youth & Government Model United Nations (MUN) puts participants (ages11 to 14) in the shoes of real-life United Nations delegates. MUN delegates are assigned to represent one or more countries and come to the MUN to advocate for change. They research, debate and establish policies, treaties and resolutions. The issues addressed include disputes between nations, peacekeeping responsibilities, border crises, stabilizing financial markets and dealing with hunger, disease and poverty.

Pride of the Panther Family Outreach Program provides violence prevention services to the youth, teens and their families who participate in Urban Services YMCA school- and branch-based programs. Services include conflict resolution, stress management workshops, parenting classes, assessments, referrals for mental health and substance abuse services, as well as basic human needs such as food, shelter and clothing.
